Brain Pilot is taking off
We believe the prevalence of suicide (accounting for over 34% of deaths) in Australian youth, is a direct reflection of the lack of education, conversation and resources within the existing national school curriculum.
Brain Pilot is a subsidised, curriculum-friendly mental health first aid program founded on evidence-based research and up-to-date information, curated specifically for Year 10-12 students. Through a mindful, compassionate lens, students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to help a peer or themselves in a time of need for mental health support, crisis or not. Since engagement is critical, our program and brand touch-points are an experiential and personalised journey, framed on an in-flight narrative, as if the student were in pilot training. Our pilot at the helm of the mission is Australian therapy dog, Evie (that's Captain Evie, to you thank you).
